New legislation is being discussed in Nevada that could see their governor signing over a new bill to allow gambling in private sectors. Beginning industry has been working hard to fight against lawmakers to allow such slot machine and table games as well as sports books to be played both in the casino as well as in their individual hotel rooms. This is further off from online casino gambling however it offers the ability to enjoy the entertainment of gambling and the satisfaction of being in your own private room.

In the past casinos have worked really hard to keep their guests on the casino floor rather than up in their hotel rooms, but now with the invention of the Internet and wireless capabilities the house is able to take on gambling bets even the players aren’t physically in the casino. According to sources this is the way that gambling and casinos will start paving the way towards the future. If they can start accessing debts through tablet PCs as well as PDAs they can then have gambling just place their wagers anywhere within the hotel. The casino makes a lot of money once the people are on the gambling floor however they also lose a little bit of money in providing services such as drinks and a full waitstaff. Through this new technology casinos available take advantage of free services to the guests and minimal amount of maintenance.

Now a new bill has been signed by the governor known as assembly Bill 258 which will allow casinos have licenses to offer forms of online poker. Of course this must all be accepted after the federal government decides to legalize online casino gambling. Until that time this legislation just sits waiting for new update. None of the bill has been signed off by the governor, Brian Sandoval, they have until January for the gaming regulators to prove this piece of legislation. At this time Peter Bernard, chairman of the Nevada gaming commission said that he does not see any problems with meeting the deadlines of January 2012. This is a big step for the state of Nevada as well as online gambling as a whole. If enough states adopt this type of policy, then the federal government should be looking towards the states and heed their advice which will hopefully lead towards overturning the ruling on online casino gambling.

Of course there will be some stipulations required within this bill that lean towards the regulation of this type of gambling. Aside from requiring licenses for interactive gambling, who also be required to set up programs that assist and prevent in problem gambling as well as underage gambling. This will help the law officials in regulating gambling in a safe environment for all those participating. Since Las Vegas has become the hub of gambling in a land-based setting throughout the United States, it is fitting that they are the first state to start policies on this type of legislation. If all goes well we will then be an initiator for online casino gambling throughout the United States.
