Resorts Casino Celebrates Hispanic History with Month Long Party
Author: Chris // Category: Online Casino NewsAt one point in time it was just good enough to go to a casino and gamble. Then came hotels, but even that was just enough. Casino resorts became the thing. Not only did a casino have to have a place to stay but it had to be a nice place to stay. Now we need some entertainment. Not just a guy at a piano in a bar, real entertainment. Get a headliner. Get a few. Put up a show with fireworks and topless girls. Build a theatre, a big one. Put in a million dollar show with a million dollar star. Hold up! Get those French-Canadian acrobats! I’m going on and on, but I’m making a point. Casinos are more than just rooms with slot machines and playing cards, they are entertainment complexes. Oh yeah, and set up a fancy restaurant.
In Las Vegas the night clubs have become as popular as anything else. Good luck getting into one if you’re not a VIP. Lines for casino nightclubs can be lengthy and just because you’re in it does mean you’re gonna get a chance to party. Some nightclubs have more draw than the roulette tables. Marquis and web pages are just as likely to advertise their nightclub as they are their craps table or their celebrity chef restaurant.
Atlantic City has picked up on this and the casino resorts around the Boardwalk have come up with some pretty fun nightclubs. The original Atlantic City casino resort, Resorts Casino, has just announced that they will be hosting “La Rumba Latin Nights” in their Boogie Nights nightclub. “The concept behind La Rumba Latin Nights was simple – we wanted to throw a party to celebrate the contributions and influence of the Hispanic Community,” said Senior Vice President of Marketing, Kathleen McSweeney. The fiesta is set to take place coincide with Hispanic Heritage Month, which celebrates the contributions of the Hispanic community in America.
