At this time the Fontainbleau Casino resort stands unfinished on the Las Vegas strip and is predicted to take one point $5 billion-$2 billion in order to complete the project. The casino resort holds 3889 rooms and still sits nearly 70% complete. The 63 story building went into an indefinite holding pattern when the Fontainbleau casino company lost their funding in order to finish the project. At the time $800 million were cut from the company that were desperately needed to finish the casino.

The Fontainbleau casino resort will be auctioned off as of January 21, 2010. Now that Icahn has joined the bidding war for the casinos, his will be the opening bid unless another company jumps in to the war.
