Electracash online still being battered by the US.

The United States continued to wage war on online casino gambling and now has taken further steps to prosecute those who are legally participating in the event. One company in particular that is facing high scrutiny is a United States payment processing company that has allegedly been providing services for online casino gambling. Electracash, based out of California has had seizures of many bank accounts that were allegedly involved in online casino gambling in July. The investigation continues as the United States has brought in their Department of immigration and customs enforcement continue to stop payments on these accounts and further investigate the violations of the laws.

This is the first of many steps that the United States will face in cracking down on online casino gambling in the country. We are currently in the first phase of prosecution, but December will show a different side when the United States pushes full force into the preventing online casino gambling and prosecuting all violators of the law. One way to further dive into the violations is for the federal government to investigate the e-mail accounts linked to Electracash in order to provide more substantial evidence against them.

Although the investigations have not made public all persons that are involved, Richard S. Gunn, Anne Arundel County police detective and task-force officer for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has applied for the warrant in order to be able to navigate through the e-mails and data more information about processing payments for online casino gambling. At this time, the two owners of Electracash had been charged with money laundering. Edward Courdy and Michael Garone have both been brought up on criminal charges through the IRS. At this time nearly $24 million had been seized from these two individuals, $10 million from Courdy and $14 Million from Garone. Another $40 million has been seized from the accounts that were flagged for online casino gambling.
