Clarion Events is one of the world’s most successful event organizing companies. They host events across the globe from the United Kingdom, Europe, North and South America, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. There events and trade shows allow vendors and industry professionals mingle, learn, and network, as well as present their products and ideas to the consumer public. For the online casino and gaming community one of their biggest events is the International Casino Exhibition, which is usually held in Earls Court, London in January, and affectionately called ICE. ICE was started in the early 1990’s as a small gathering of British online casino professionals and has grown into one of the premier events of the expo season.
The International Casino Exhibition has grown in such a way that Clarion Events thought it was time to give the expo a new look. “The ‘new ICE’ is contemporary. It has change, technology and opportunity at its core – all of which are important features of the at show experience,” commented ICE Show Director Kate Chambers. “What we have developed is a new corporate identity for an international exhibition which has come of age and which now incorporates all strands of the gaming experience comprising casino, remote, street, bingo, betting, online and lottery.”
Ms. Chambers and the organizers of ICE have a commitment to its attendees to bring the best exhibition to the casino community. They felt the time was right to give the event a new look and encompass all of the casino world. So far, the news of the change has been good news for the casino industry. “We’re delighted with the identity which has also been well received by exhibitors,” continued Ms. Chambers.
Plans for the new and improved International Casino Exhibition include work with the casino industry to bring events that will contribute to the business sector of the industry. This and other changes have led to over 90 percent of the convention space being sold six months ahead of next year’s ICE event.
