Even though there is no casino, and even though it seems small in comparison, The Mandarin Oriental could prove to be the boutique hotel of Nevada.
Because of its size the Mandarin Oriental Resort and Spa is able to offer the personal touch made famous by the international brand. It is also able to offer some unique touches that will attract guests that don’t feel the need to be impressed with the lights and the sounds of the casinos resorts of Sin City. For example, the Mandarin Oriental has a spa that features holistic experiences and treatments. There are also six restaurants and lounges. The signature restaurant is located on the 23rd floor. Twist is Chef Pierre Gagnaire first restaurant in America, seats 74 and is only opened for dinner which could run about $125 a person. Also on the 23rd floor is the the Mandarin Bar and Tea Lounge. The Tea Lounge offers High Tea every afternoon and the lounge will be the nightly nightcap, open from 5 PM to 2 AM . The resort will also host private residences which can offer permanent and season residents a chance to get away from the buzz without being too far away.
