Reviews are out for the Gambling Epicenter, CintyCenter. Part II
Author: Chris // Category: Las Vegas CasinosIn order to celebrate the opening of this complex, the hotel has been giving away special deals that include airfare and hotel stay for one week for a mere $800. But many flights around the United States costing around $300, this was a pretty magnificent deal.
One of the interesting points brought up by the tourists is that because the hotel is a non-gambling facility it does not provide the same stench of cigarettes when entering the hotel. Since all of the hotels in Las Vegas focused their attention on their downstairs casino, the smoke-filled air infiltrates throughout the entire hotel, causing many tourists feel uncomfortable in their hotel rooms. With this new smokeless hotel, guests have opportunity to get away from the casinos as well as the smell is associated with them. According to Carole Terrell, one of the visitors (along with Green building consultant husband, Scott Terrell) stated, “I think it’s great that they’ve built a facility so that people who are not gamers or smokers can enjoy this environment.”
There are still many kinks to be worked out in the city center, however it still in its growing face and has many hurdles to face before it finishes its complete construction. With their second hotel, the aria opening on December 16 there so many pieces that are not in place. During the opening weekend tourists and hotel employees had some confusion about whether or not the trams were running through the Las Vegas strip into the neighboring casinos. This causes a lot of stress, but eventually the tram system will be worked out in clearly marked for all their guests.
Some guests depending on their gambling needs feel that the city center will be a classic separating venue that changes the look and the feel of Las Vegas gambling. Many of the guests of Las Vegas come to gamble and have a good time in the casinos, and not spend a lot of money on rooms. Recently we have witnessed the economy affecting room rates and realize that tourists are looking for cheap rooms so they can come and spend their money in the casinos. This could be one of the largest challenges for the city center opening and may be a factor they have to reconsider once construction is complete.
