Now that the casino and hotel resorts have expanded their extra tower gambling tourists will be able to enjoy the many new features that they offer. The Planet Hollywood tower will spend nearly 52 stories tall in the marketing towards travelers that have a need to stay in Las Vegas for an extended period of time. This towel exclusively catered towards the extended stay convention guests rather than the weekend gambling tourists. The view of this tower is to provide rooms that are completely self-sufficient by providing a full kitchen, washer and dryer as well as top-of-the-line electronics. These types of rooms will provide a timeshare type of experience for all the tourists on extended stays. According to the Planet Hollywood Casino and resort president, Bill Feather, “The tower is for the upscale customer who wants to enjoy an all-suite product.”
The idea for this resort came about when a timeshare company, Westgate and Planet Hollywood casinos and hotels combined forces in order to create a 200 occupancy luxury room. The remaining rooms in the hotel and casino will be available for all gambling tourists as well as weekend warriors who need a hotel room to stay. Already, 20 people have used their timeshares with in this month of December before the official grand opening. the top floor of this Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino Tower will consist of 16 condominium units starting from 6000 ft.² all the way to 18,000 ft.². With the addition of this new tower, Planet Hollywood now has an occupancy rate of 3697 for all gambling tourists.
The hard rock Hotel and Casino Tower has been incorporated in the $750 million expansion through the company and is expected to open in April. This tower will consist of 374 rooms along with seven Penthouse suites. Included in the many amenities of this tower will be a spa, a new parking garage and a 40,000 ft.² casino space. If gambling is not your forte there is also a nightclub to help entertain the guests.
