Weekend casino tournaments at Millionaire Casino

Author: scott  //  Category: Online Casino

Whenever the weekend comes, I ask myself a few things. Are there any good casino tournaments? That girl hasn’t returned your call yet; should you call her again? Did I write down the wrong number at the bar? What is that smell? Is my co-worker eating Ramen noodles again?

Only the first question should be of interest to you, my loyal readers, so that is the one I will discuss here. Millionaire Casino has a few good casino tournaments going on this weekend, and playing at those tournaments and earning prizes should be a lot more fun than getting a fake number from the hot blonde who said she liked you!

For fans of online blackjack, there is the Weekend Blackjack Classic tournament. This blackjack tournament takes starts today, Friday, and runs through Sunday, July 25. It is played on the U.S. Blackjack game. There is a $10 entry fee for the event and players will compete for a $5,000 prize pool.

Video poker fans can take part in the Weekend Deuces Wild Face-Off, which also runs Friday through Sunday. The tournament takes place on the Deuces Wild game. There is a $5 buy-in and players compete for a share of the pot.

The Wheel Deal tournament is a good bet for online roulette fans. The roulette tournament started yesterday, July 22, and runs through July 29. The tournament is played on the American Roulette game. There is a $2 entry fee for the casino tournament and players compete for a share of the pot.

If you want a shorter tournament, one that lasts only one day, there are daily Play for the Pot slot tournaments at Millionaire Casino. The tournaments begin at 12:01 AM one day and end 24 hours later. In each of the slot tournaments, players pay a $3 entry fee and compete for a share of the pot. Right now, there is the tournament played on the Rocking Robin slot. After that, the slot tournaments are played on Eastern Dragon (July 24), Cash Caboose (July 25) and Tiki Lounge (July 26).

If you’re more in the mood for winning prizes at a casino tournament then having your self-esteem take another hit by getting turned down at the local bar, you should check out the tournaments at Millionaire Casino.

Philippines online casinos are uniquely mobile

Author: scott  //  Category: Online Casino

In the Philippines, they have a unique take on the concept of mobile casinos. That nation actually has casinos-on-wheels, licensed and operated by the government.

In most jurisdictions, players who want to visit an internet casino can only do it on their computer at home, at an internet café, or on their cell phone. If they have a laptop computer then they can do it anywhere with Wi-Fi access. But if you don’t own a smartphone or laptop you don’t have a lot of options.

In the Philippines, though, there is another choice. The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) operates some casinos-on-wheels. They are massive vans with rows of computers inside, letting locals come aboard and play casino games anywhere the vans are located. Only Filipinos are legally allowed to play at online casinos in the country.

One thing that has always bothered me is, why is someone who lives in the Philippines a Filipino? Not only is the number of p’s not consistent, but they can’t even decide whether to start the word with a ph or an f!

Strange spellings aside, I find this fascinating. There used to be a good meals-on-wheels van that visited my office location every day for lunch. They had some great Cuban sandwiches. I’ve never imagined bringing that mobile business model to internet casinos, though.

The Philippines has strict laws regarding where online casino cafés, including the casinos-on-wheels, can operate. Therefore, some worry about the mobile nature of those vans. The government is looking into their activity and whether to renew their licenses, which had been approved by the previous administration. It will be interested to see what the Philippine government (Filipino government?) decides.

Lucky Red Weekend Deposit Bonus

Author: scott  //  Category: Online Casino

The weekend is coming and it’s time to have some fun. What are your plans for the weekend? As for me, I will be visiting family from out of town, so I doubt I’ll have time to jump on an online casino and get any games in. You’re not invited, though, so unless you have better plans, I think you should consider checking out Lucky Red Casino.

This weekend, running from Friday, July 23, to Monday, July 26, Lucky Red Casino is giving out casino bonuses that vary depending on your game. If you play online slots, scratch cards or keno, you can get a 60% match bonus, with a maximum bonus amount of $1,000. The coupon code for this bonus is FUNWEEKEND1 and you can claim this bonus an unlimited number of times.

For players of online blackjack, video poker and any other table games, the deposit bonus is a little different. Lucky Red is giving away a 45% match bonus, with a maximum bonus value of $1,000. The coupon code for this bonus is FUNWEEKEND2 and like the other one, you can claim it an unlimited number of times.

You may have noticed a difference in the match percentages. This is not to be mean to blackjack and video poker fans. The match percentage is higher for online slots, keno and scratch cards because those games have a higher house edge. The higher match percentage is meant to help make up for that.

If you’re not yet a member of Lucky Red Casino, you can join today and still take advantage of those deposit bonuses this weekend. In addition, you would be eligible for the casino’s welcome bonus. There are two different welcome bonuses. If you play slots, you can get a 400% deposit match bonus, with an upper limit of $4,000. If you play blackjack or video poker, you can get a 100% deposit match bonus, with a maximum amount of $1,000.

More information can be found on the online casino’s promotions page. Visit Lucky Red Casino to take advantage of the casino bonus offers.

Annie Duke Tells Congress to Legalize Online Gambling

Author: scott  //  Category: Online Casino

The United States Congress likes to get together for hearings. They like discussing things, lecturing, sharing their opinion and watching themselves on C-SPAN. Right now, the House Financial Services Committee is holding a hearing on online gambling. Representative Barney Frank, a member of that committee, wants to legalize and regulate online gambling at a federal level, repealing the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) in the process.

Yesterday, Annie Duke testified before the House committee. Annie Duke is a well-known poker player, having won a World Series of Poker bracelet and earning the nickname of the “Duchess of Poker.” For that reason, it’s not surprising that she is an advocate of online poker in the United States.

Annie Duke told the House Financial Services Committee that Congress should legalize and regulate the online gambling industry. She said that the issue is “personal freedom, the right of individual Americans to do what they want in the privacy of their homes without the intrusion of the government.”

That argument about doing what you want in your own home should carry particular weight with Frank. According to the folks at Gambling Review, Frank has a history of running an illegal gay brothel out of his home. Frank echoed Duke’s statement, saying that “unwise choices are part of freedom.” While some worry that allowing online gambling would lead to illegal gambling by minors, Duke said that it should be the job of parents, not the government, to make sure their children are not participating in dangerous activities.

Next week, the House Financial Services Committee may meet to vote on Frank’s bill to regulate and license online gambling in America. Currently there is no federal ban on online gambling in the United States. The UIGEA tasks financial institutions with blocking transactions from “unlawful” internet gambling, without making online gambling unlawful or defining what types of gambling is unlawful. Some states do ban online gambling, though, and those state laws should still be in effect even if federal regulation is passed.

Online Poker Tournament at All Slots Casino

Author: scott  //  Category: Online Casino

“Your winning hand could win you even more!” proudly proclaims the promotions page on All Slots Casino. That grabbed my interest, so I checked it out. The online casino is holding a tournament for online poker and video poker and you play as normal, but have a chance to win bonus money as well.

The tournament allows poker and video poker players to compete for a $5,000 prize pool. To enter, all you have to do is deposit and play at least 50 credits on any eligible video poker game or online poker table at the casino. You play these games as normal, meaning you can win or lose your own money depending on a combination of luck and skill.

While you’re playing the poker games, you will earn one point for every 50 credits you wager. You will also earn one point for every 50 credits you win, meaning players who make a lot of money playing poker have a chance to add to it in the poker tournament prize pool. However, if you’re having a rough time and are losing money, All Slots can help compensate you by giving you one point for every 50 credits lost. I wouldn’t advise trying to win tournament prize money by losing at the poker tables, though.

The online poker and video poker tournament begins today, July 21, and runs until July 27.  The tournament follows a leader board format and that board is updated every 30 minutes, giving you plenty of notice of where you stand and how many points you need for prizes. The top 100 players will receive prizes in the poker tournament. If you receive casino credits as prizes, you have 30 days to spend them at the online casino before they expire. More information can be found on the promotions page.

To take part in the poker tournament, log on to All Slots Casino, deposit at least 50 credits and starting playing some poker games.

Canadian Online Casino Up, Then Down

Author: scott  //  Category: Online Casino

It has been an interesting and eventful weeks for online gambling fans in Canada. The province of British Columbia launched their own online casino on the B.C. Lottery Corporation’s PlayNow.com site on Friday. Within hours of its launch, the online casino was down and unavailable.

According to the British Columbia Lottery Corp., the site’s crash was caused by having “too many users,” and their servers could not handle the extraordinarily high volume of visitors. That shows that there are more potential customers for online gambling in Canada than even the Lottery Corp. anticipated. After the online casino crashed, the BCLC announced that it would be re-launched on Tuesday, but if you tried to access the casino since then, you may have noticed that it is still down. There is no new launch date, but authorities assure that it will be soon.

PlayNow.com, the British Columbia Lottery Corporation’s online casino, is the first online casino to be launched in North America. If the server-crashing volume of visitors is any indication, there is great demand for online gambling in North America, and other jurisdictions may follow suit. Another Canadian province, Quebec, is considering launching an online casino of their own. There may soon be a variety of Canadian online casinos available to the public. Here’s hoping they use powerful servers.

The server crashing wasn’t the only problem for the online casino, though. Some users reported that they logged on to the site and found themselves in another player’s account. The Lottery Corp. stressed that no credit card information or anything else that can be used for identity theft was viewable to other players during that time. However, they admitted that players were able to see another player’s “user name, session time, session spend and account balance.”

Though they haven’t said anything, I imagine the reason for the delay in re-lanching the online casino is to ensure that such a thing doesn’t happen again. Upgrading the server to handle increased traffic shouldn’t take long, but it is of the utmost importance that the casino protects everyone’s information.

Tiger Treasures Slot at Rushmore Casino

Author: scott  //  Category: Online Casino

Today I played the Tiger Treasures slot at Rushmore Casino. To be honest, I don’t know what a tiger treasure is. What do tigers treasure? I guess they treasure food, since they’re predators and food is necessary to survive. So any animal that they eat – which would be anything in the area – would be treasured. What else do they treasure? Well, they’re solitary animals, so they don’t treasure the company of other tigers. Maybe I’m reading too much into the title…

Anyway, the Tiger Treasures slot has a Chinese setting and it has a look that you would associate with China. With a jungle background and symbols of tigers, pandas, orchids, Chinese characters and more, this slot brings you into the Orient. I have always associated tigers with India, but they are all over Asia (though they are becoming endangered in China), so the location of this slot makes sense.

The Tiger Treasures slot is a 5-reel game that lets you play up to 20 paylines. It has a jackpot of 4,500 coins, which varies in dollar amount depending on how much you wager. You can play coins from one cent to $5.

The tiger is the coolest symbol in the game for two reasons. First, tigers are cool. That should go without saying but I said it anyway. The other reason is because when the tiger is used in a winning combination, all winnings are tripled. The Chinese characters are the scatter symbol. Three or more scatter symbols on the reels unlocks anywhere from five to 25 free spins.

The Tiger Treasures slot can be found at Rushmore Casino.

Glue Pay Available at Online Casinos

Author: scott  //  Category: Online Casino

There are a lot of options available for making a deposit at an online casino. Though using a credit card is the most obvious and most popular choice, it’s not necessarily the best choice. For one thing, some credit card companies do not allow their cards to be used for online gambling transactions. Also, racking up credit on that card can result in high fees from the eventual interest. A more direct form of payment can be good.

Many online casinos allow you to use e-wallet transactions, where you open an account with an e-wallet company and then transfer funds from a credit card or from your bank to the e-wallet. The e-wallet then transfers the money to the online casino, ensuring that everybody gets paid. When it’s time for the withdrawal, the casino pays the e-wallet account.

Glue Pay is a payment option that is quickly becoming more popular at online casinos, though. Glue Pay is not another e-wallet site, like UseMyWallet and eWalletXpress. Instead, Glue Pay is an instant bank transfer system. The company is used to instantaneously transfer funds from your bank account to an online casino and vice versa.

Glue Pay does not have a limit on the amount of money you can transfer. There is no waiting period, so the funds are available immediately and you can access them 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.

As more online casinos begin accepting Glue Pay as an option, that will give players more payment choices. A smart player determines what payment options are available at a casino before joining. The method of payment that is best for you depends on your individual circumstances.

Sherlock Holmes Rollover at Lucky Red

Author: scott  //  Category: Online Casino

I never really took Sherlock Holmes as a guy who needed a lot of help solving cases. Sure, Watson went around with him, but he didn’t ever really seem to be that much of a help. Despite that, Lucky Red Casino is enlisting your help so Holmes can solve a case.

The promotion is the Sherlock Holmes Weekday Rollover and here’s how it works. Apparently, Sherlock Holmes is investigating some big case at the online casino and if you happen to bump into him, you can help with his case. Maybe you know something, some information that he needs.

As your playing any paid game at the online casino, if you get three inspector symbols, you win! Not only that, but for every inspector that shows up during the free spins rounds, more free spins are added to your account.

There are also some deposit bonuses that go along with this promotion. Players of slots, keno and scratch cards get a special deposit bonus that is different depending on the day. On Tuesday, July 20, players can earn a 50% match bonus on their deposit. The coupon code for that bonus is SHERLOCKA. On Wednesday, July 21, players can receive a 55% bonus on their deposit. That bonus has a coupon code of SHERLOCKB. On Thursday, players can get a 60% match bonus. The coupon code for that bonus is SHERLOCKC. Those bonuses can only be redeemed up to ten times each.

And then there is the bonus for Friday. On Friday, players can receive a 75% match bonus on their deposit, but there is a catch. To be eligible for that bonus, players must have redeemed coupons for the first 3 bonuses (SHERLOCKA-SHERLOCKC).

For players of online blackjack, video poker and any other table games, there is a different bonus. This bonus is not different depending on the day of the week. Players of these games can receive unlimited 40% match bonuses, with a maximum limit of $1,000. The coupon code for that bonus is HOLMES.

More information can be found on the casino’s promotions page. To take advantage of the Sherlock Holmes Weekday Rollover promotion, visit Lucky Red Casino.

Celtic Casino Giving Away Breast Implants

Author: scott  //  Category: Online Casino

I love it when online casinos get creative with their promotions. Sure, it’s nice getting cash back or a 100% match bonus or free spins on the online slots. I like getting free hours of play and free entry to online casino tournaments. All of those are good promotions, but they’re not creative and therefore – to me – not as interesting.

Those can’t compare with Intercasino giving away a free trip into space, Castle Casino giving away a Lamborghini or Golden Tiger Casino giving away a real Bengal tiger. Those are casino promotions that are equal parts brilliant and insane. Another great example of such a promotion can be found at Celtic Casino.

Right now, Celtic Casino is giving away breast implants. The online casino is holding the Full Body Extreme Makeover promotion. This is a raffle type of promotion, where players are randomly selected from a pool of entries. Players receive an entry in that pool for every £100 deposited during the promotion period from July 15 to September 15.

Lucky winners will receive their choice of aesthetic cosmetic surgery, which can include breast augmentation, liposuction, a rhinoplasty and more. If you win, you get the surgery done in Costa Rica. The surgical procedures, according to their website, must pass “the criteria of the board certified plastic surgeon in Costa Rica. The winner must meet the physical and psychological requirements.” Anyone who has seen Nip/Tuck has an idea of what they’re talking about.

If the winner opts against the surgery or does not qualify for whatever reason, they can instead take the cash equivalent of £4,000.
