Author: scott  //  Category: Uncategorized

If you like a bunch of morons poking each other in the eyes, slapping each other in the face and throwing pies in each other’s faces, then I have the game for you!

The game is the Three Stooges slot and you can play it at Rushmore Casino. The slot is based on the 1930’s characters of the same name and features photo imagery of all of the stooges. There are symbols of Moe, Larry and Curly along with Moe’s hat, film reel, stack of money (?), cream pie and more.

Three Stooges is a 5-reel, 25-payline video slot. It is a nickel slot, with the ability to wager up to 25 coins. The online slot features animations of the characters engaging in the type of slaptstick humor from which they are known. You have stooges slipping, getting hit with things, screaming and more.

The slot has several bonuses, such as the Moe Money feature, where you win up to 25 free spins, the Curly Cash feature, where you win up to 30 free spins, and the Larry’s Loot feature, where you win up to 1,000 times your original bet.

If you’re a fan of the Three Stooges, this online slot is sure to be nostalgic and provide hours of excitement. If you found them annoying, you might want to avoid this game. If you don’t know who they are, this is a good opportunity to experience the weird and stupid things that people watched back then.

Denmark Will Have to Re-do Gambling Law

Author: scott  //  Category: Uncategorized

You’ll be happy to know that I resisted the strong urge to frequently quote Hamlet in this article. For me, that usually happens whenever I discuss Denmark. Anyway, Denmark’s parliament will need a re-do for its online gambling legislation. Oops.

On June 4, Denmark passed gambling legislation that allows online gambling within the nation and also allows foreign companies to compete in the market, complying with EU free-trade rules. However, the land-based casinos within Denmark have complained that the new law is unfair in that it favors online gambling over their businesses.

Under the new law, online gambling in Denmark would be taxed at a 20% rate. However, land-based casino pay between 45% and 75% in taxes. Gunnar Sorenson, the director of the Danish Gaming Association, says that if the two industries are not taxed at the same rate, “the Danish government is effectively supporting the online gambling companies.”

As a result of the dispute, the gambling laws will now be resubmitted to the European Commission. This isn’t the first time Denmark has had problems with their gambling laws. Previously the European Commission shot down part of a Danish law that allowed ISP blocking of online gambling sites. This was done to protect the state-run gambling provider, Danske Spil.

Video Poker Tournaments at Online Vegas

Author: scott  //  Category: Uncategorized

When it comes to tournaments at online casinos, there are a ton of slot tournaments and poker tournaments. On occasion, you’ll find blackjack tournaments. Video poker tournaments, on the other hand, aren’t found very often. Online Vegas Casino is one of the few casinos that holds them and they are doing that right now. For that reason, I think Online Vegas is one of the best online casinos for fans of video poker.

Online Vegas is holding four video poker tournaments during each week. The tournaments last 24 hours and take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Each video poker tournament has a $2,500 guaranteed prize pool. The tournaments have an entry fee of $1.99 and players can rebuy for the same amount. It should be noted that the prizes are awarded in loyalty points rather than casino credits.

The video poker tournaments are played on the popular game Deuces Wild. Online Vegas has two different Deuces Wild games, with one as a single-hand game and other using 2-4 hands. The Deuces Wild tournament alternates between the two variations.

For players who aren’t into video poker, Online Vegas has lots of other action, including a current online blackjack tournament that you can enter for just a $0.99 buy-in.

To enter the video poker tournament and take a shot at the prize pool, visit Online Vegas today.

NV Gaming Board Member Open to Online Gambling

Author: scott  //  Category: Uncategorized

There are currently no online casinos operating within the borders of the United States. Some lawmakers, lobbyists and players want to see that change. There is also opposition among other lawmakers, lobbyists, and other interest groups. Most Las Vegas casinos are fighting against online gambling being brought to the U.S., fearing that they would lose business to the online casinos.

Not everyone on the Vegas Strip feels that way, though. Harrah’s recently began a partnership with 888, a British online casino. 888 provides software for Harrah’s online casinos that are based in England and do not accept American customers. If online gambling comes to the U.S., Harrah’s is poised to become a major player in the industry right away.

Vegas

With all of the bitter fighting between both sides of the issue, I found myself wondering about the position of the Nevada Gaming Control Board. The NGCB is the government regulatory body that oversees all of the gambling operations in Vegas, Reno and everything else in the state. They are a very powerful and influential government agency.

While the NGCB has not come out with an opinion on online gambling, one of the board members now has. Sort of. His position is that he doesn’t have a position.

Randall Sayre, a Nevada Gaming Control Board member, said that he isn’t opposed to online gambling, but he wouldn’t push for it, either. He told UK gambling publication GamblingCompliance “I’ve got nothing against Internet gambling. I have no dog in the fight with regards to whether it’s good or bad.”

While that’s not a ringing endorsement of bringing the online casino industry to the U.S., it’s good that he isn’t against it, because, believe me, if the NGCB was against it, the chances of online casinos ever coming to the States would be drastically reduced.

Sayre also said that if online casinos are to be brought to the U.S., the NGCB would be the most logical place to start in terms of regulating the industry. He said that they are “well positioned” to take on the extra responsibility should the change be called for.

E-Checks an Alternative to Credit Cards for Casinos

Author: scott  //  Category: Uncategorized

Many believe that electronic checks, or e-checks, will become the primary deposit method for online casinos, especially those that deal with American customers. Since the passage of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) in 2006, many financial institutions are weary of getting in trouble with the feds for being used for the transfer of funds from “illegal” online gambling. Their worry hinges in large part on the fact that UIGEA does not either make any gambling illegal or clearly define what types of online gambling are illegal. Since the law is so murky, there is the potential for abuse.

For that reason, Visa and Mastercard have both started blocking all transactions between American customers and online casinos, sports books or any other online gambling sites. Other credit card companies may follow suit and even if they don’t, Visa and Mastercard make up the vast majority of the market (with Discover and American Express a ways behind).

There are, of course, other options for making electronic payments. There are a ton of e-wallet sites out there, but some people don’t like using them and for some, they are difficult or tiresome to use. For that reason, many prefer to use electronic checks. To pay by e-check, players only need to enter their checking account number, routing number and social security number (to confirm their identity) on the website. E-checks are even often used to transfer funds on e-wallet websites, so in those cases a casino that allows e-check payment would be cutting out the middle man.

There are not currently a lot of online casinos that offer payment via e-check, though Lucky Red Casino and Aladdin’s Gold are two that do. In the near future, experts believe that a majority of online casinos that serve American customers will have e-check payment as an option in order to avoid losing business. Some sites even offer incentives, such as bonuses, for paying via e-check, since it is cheaper for the casino than a credit card payment.

Happy Birthday to Casino Tropez

Author: scott  //  Category: Uncategorized

Casino Tropez is celebrating their eighth birthday and that’s no small feat. For an online casino to last that long usually means that you have proved your reliability and trustworthiness, have developed a loyal fan base, and offer good games that players want to play and promotions that they enjoy. Casino Tropez has been able to do all of that for 8 years and now it’s time to celebrate.

Normally, guests give presents to the person celebrating their birthday, but Casino Tropez is instead giving the gifs to the players. I guess it makes sense, since the players are the ones who have enabled the online casino to last thing long. Also, they probably figured no players would be willing to send presents to the casino. I guess they could have made an Amazon wishlist and put it on the website…

Anyway, to celebrate their 8th birthday, Casino Tropez is giving away a 100% match bonus for new customers up to $8,000. Even before making a deposit, though, new players can earn up to $3,000 simply for registering.

There are other promotions going on at the casino as well, such as the friend referral offer, where if you get a friend to join the casino you will get $50 free and your friend will get $25 in addition to the aforementioned welcome bonuses.

To take advantage of the new-member bonus giveaways, visit Casino Tropez today.

Millionaire Casino February Slot Promotions

Author: scott  //  Category: Uncategorized

February is the month when men celebrate their love of football (with the Super Bowl) and women celebrate their love of getting gifts and “romantic” gestures (with Valentine’s Day). For that reason, it’s also a big time for promotions and tournaments at online casinos.

No one can claim that Millionaire Casino isn’t doing enough to celebrate Valentine’s Day. The I Heart Slots promotion ended on Valentine’s Day. In addition, they have been holding the month-long Lucky In Love online slot tournament. In this tournament, players compete for a prize pool of $50,000. This tournament is played on a game called Dr. Love, which sounds like the title to either a porno movie, a horror movie, or a pornographic horror movie (actually, that sounds like it could be good).

But that’s not all. Millionaire Casino has dubbed Cupid’s Arrow their slot of the month. Any VIP Plan members who play that online slot during the month of February will earn double rewards points.

I’m not the biggest fan in the world of Valentine’s Day. I think it’s artificial and gives people a bad idea of what it means to be romantic. However, perhaps kind of ironically, I love Valentine’s-themed slots. I guess it’s because I can imagine them being romantic and having nothing to do with the holiday, even though I know that’s not true. In any case, romantic or not, I always love slot tournaments.

For that reason, I think Millionaire Casino is a good bet for a place to gamble this month. If you agree, be sure to visit the online casino before the promotions end.

Online Vegas’ Groundhog Day Tournament Ending

Author: scott  //  Category: Uncategorized

Well, Groundhog Day is finally over after an incredibly amount of  excitement and building, the kind we only see for holidays as exciting as Secretary’s Day and National Blame Someone Else Day. I think Groundhog Day was yesterday or something – maybe the day before. And on that day, the groundhog they call Punxsutawney Phil came out of his hole or tree or something and either saw his shadow or didn’t. I can’t remember which. One of them means there will be more winter and one means there will be less. If Phil has been paying attention to the weather and the planet’s cooling climate, I think betting on more winter would have been a wise decision.

Groundhog Day only holds my interest if we’re talking about the Bill Murray movie. For some people, though, it’s exciting or something. I don’t know. Maybe not. In any case, while most online casinos are holding Super Bowl tournaments, Online Vegas has opted for a Groundhog Day tournament instead, which ends today. The tournament began back on Tuesday and has players competing for a $15,000 guaranteed prize pool. The first-place winner gets $5100, the second-place finisher wins $2300 and the third-place player walks away with $1500. The top 200 players in all receive prize money.

The tournament has an entry fee of $8.99 and a rebuy of the same amount. Both amounts give you a balance of $300 to spend. The slot tournament is played on the game called Dynasty, which has nothing to do with Groundhog Day. Instead, it’s a game about ancient China. So it’s an odd promotion; what do you want? Once this promotion is over, I’m sure Online Vegas will hold a Valentine’s Day tournament, which will probably be played on a game with a boxing theme.

To take part in the tournament, which ends soon, visit Online Vegas today.

All Slots Casino’s Two New Slots

Author: scott  //  Category: Uncategorized

Microgaming has released two new online slots that relate to big events in the month of February. The games are Winter Gold and Love Potion and they can be found at All Slots Casino. Slot machines are more about the theme than anything else, since there’s little else you can do to differentiate slot machines. Therefore, coming up with topical themes is always a good idea and one that is appreciated by those who enjoy playing the games.

Burning Love relates to that holiday coming up where men give their girlfriends roses, chocolates, jewelry and take them to fancy restaurants in order to get Valentine’s Day sex, which is a special kind of sex in that it only happens one day out of each year. From what I’ve seen in the movies, though, a love potion is something that men slip to girls in order to make them fall in love with them, which kind of makes it like roofies.

Regardless, Love Potion is the “romantic” online slot that is being released to coincide with Valentine’s Day. The game features symbols of potion, Cupid, roses and more. It is a 5-reel, 9-payline slot that has a variety of bonus features, including a bonus round where you have to pick between six suitors for a prize.

Winter Gold is a new online slot made to grab the fans of the upcoming Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver. The slot features symbols of skiers, bobsledders, speed skating and more. It is a 5-reel, 10-payline online slot that also features a few bonus rounds, including one where you can win up to 24,000 credits. During the Olympics, most people feel more patriotic than usual and start paying attention to sports that they otherwise couldn’t care less about. I mean, does anyone watch luge the rest of the year? Playing the Winter Gold slot is a good way to keep in the spirit of the Games even when you’re not watching them.

Online Vegas Enters February with $75K Tournament

Author: scott  //  Category: Uncategorized

All good things must come to an end. All month long, online casinos have continued to celebrate the new year by holding New Year’s tournaments. The excitement of the ball dropping, confetti falling from the sky, and making out with a random drunk person next to you are long over, but 2010 is still pretty new, and therefore is still being celebrated in the casinos. Most of those promotions end at the end of the month, though, because honestly, it would be a little odd to celebrate the new year in February.

But instead of lamenting the loss of January, think of the great things about February. There’s the Super Bowl…um…It’s Black History Month… I’m sure there’s something else. There’s Valentine’s Day, which is an exciting holiday for some but a depressing one for others.

Okay, so February isn’t exactly an exciting month. Hey, at least it’s short! Online Vegas casino, however, is doing their best to get you geared up for the second month. They are holding an event called the See You in February $75,000 Weekend Madness. The online slot tournament begins today (Friday) and runs through Tuesday, February 2.

The See You in February tournament is played on the online slot Love Bugs, which is a romantic-themed game featuring flowers, champagne and chocolates but not a Volkswagen Beetle named Herbie. Even without an anthropomorphic car, though, the tournament should be exciting, since it has a prize pool of $75,000. The first-place winner will take home $21,000, the second-place finisher will win $9500 and the third-place finisher will earn $4500. Players who finish in the top 20 will all receive no less than $250.

The online slot tournament has an entry fee of $13.99 and a rebuy for the same amount. If you’re not a single cynic who hates everything about Valentine’s Day because you feel it is an artificially romantic holiday designed by Hallmark and the flower industry to trick men into proving they love their girlfriends and wives (that would pretty much describe me), then you should have a blast playing Love Bugs for a  shot at 75 grand.

To take part in the See You in February $75,000 Weekend Madness online slot tournament, visit Online Vegas casino today.
