Well, Groundhog Day is finally over after an incredibly amount of excitement and building, the kind we only see for holidays as exciting as Secretary’s Day and National Blame Someone Else Day. I think Groundhog Day was yesterday or something – maybe the day before. And on that day, the groundhog they call Punxsutawney Phil came out of his hole or tree or something and either saw his shadow or didn’t. I can’t remember which. One of them means there will be more winter and one means there will be less. If Phil has been paying attention to the weather and the planet’s cooling climate, I think betting on more winter would have been a wise decision.
Groundhog Day only holds my interest if we’re talking about the Bill Murray movie. For some people, though, it’s exciting or something. I don’t know. Maybe not. In any case, while most online casinos are holding Super Bowl tournaments, Online Vegas has opted for a Groundhog Day tournament instead, which ends today. The tournament began back on Tuesday and has players competing for a $15,000 guaranteed prize pool. The first-place winner gets $5100, the second-place finisher wins $2300 and the third-place player walks away with $1500. The top 200 players in all receive prize money.
The tournament has an entry fee of $8.99 and a rebuy of the same amount. Both amounts give you a balance of $300 to spend. The slot tournament is played on the game called Dynasty, which has nothing to do with Groundhog Day. Instead, it’s a game about ancient China. So it’s an odd promotion; what do you want? Once this promotion is over, I’m sure Online Vegas will hold a Valentine’s Day tournament, which will probably be played on a game with a boxing theme.
To take part in the tournament, which ends soon, visit Online Vegas today.
