Playtech is not a company that likes resting on their laurels (On a side note, have you ever heard of anyone doing something with laurels other than resting on them?). It seems that not a week goes by without me seeing news about the software developer releasing a new game, launching a new casino or signing a new deal with a company. The latter happened recently, with the company partnering with Playtech for an exclusive online bingo license. To keep the B2B ball rolling, Playtech has now inked a new partnership with Buongiorno.
Playtech, a gambling software designer that has been a dominant force in the industry since 2000, has partnered with Buongiorno to design a new gaming platform for the Italian company. Buongiorno is a provider of a variety of digital content for mobile phones. The company currently provides poker and bingo software, but with the new deal with Playtech, they now have access to an impressive suite of games that can be played using Playtech’s renowned software.
Buongiorno wants new online casino software in place when new liberalized laws take effect in Italy next year. By using Playtech’s respected platform, Buongiorno will be able to offer full online casinos, lotteries and more.
In addition to games – both gambling games and other types – Buongiorno provides customers with ringtones, wallpapers, and more for their smartphones. Prior to their contract with Playtech, the bulk of their content used platforms by Java and Adobe Flash.
In addition to the recent licensing contracts with Buongiorno and Ubibet, Playtech also recently launched an online poker site dedicated to the new Finland market, for which they were awarded a license in May.
