A disturbing incident has occurred in Germany and it could have an impact on the greater online gambling community. Denmark has delayed implementation of their new online gambling laws. On June of this year, the Danish parliament passed new laws allowing a more free market for online gambling after the European Court of Justice rule against their current laws. Denmark had been running a monopoly that excluded foreign competition, something that is against EU rules.
