Electronic baccarat games in California casinos

Author: scott  //  Category: Online Casino

The line between brick and mortar casinos and online casinos is continuing to blur. As online casinos are becoming more interactive and doing a better job of recreating a casino environment – by using live dealers, 3-D animation and more – many brick and mortar casinos are doing the opposite. It has become common for brick and mortar casinos that are not allowed to carry table games to carry electronic versions of those games instead. It started with video poker, but those casinos now often carry electronic blackjack, electronic roulette and more. California casinos are now carrying electronic baccarat games, thanks to EZ Trak.

The EZ Baccarat system, designed by EZ Trak, can be found in some California casinos. In those electronic games, there is no dealer and no commission for the house. To compensate for the lack of commission, the bets are done a little differently. Players bet on the banker, player or a tie, like usual, but can also bet on something called a Dragon7. The Dragon7 is basically an insurance bet. If a seven is drawn, everyone loses except anyone who bet on Dragon7. That bet pays 40 to 1.

Advantages of the EZ Baccarat games are that they are legal in some places where the regular game of baccarat is not. In addition, the games run faster and allow for smaller stakes. They are a hybrid of electronic games and regular table games.

EZ Trak installed an additional 52 EZ Baccarat games in California card rooms on September 1, bringing the total EZ Baccarat games in the state to 104. There are another 24 games that are planned to be released soon.

Glue Pay Available at Online Casinos

Author: scott  //  Category: Online Casino

There are a lot of options available for making a deposit at an online casino. Though using a credit card is the most obvious and most popular choice, it’s not necessarily the best choice. For one thing, some credit card companies do not allow their cards to be used for online gambling transactions. Also, racking up credit on that card can result in high fees from the eventual interest. A more direct form of payment can be good.

Many online casinos allow you to use e-wallet transactions, where you open an account with an e-wallet company and then transfer funds from a credit card or from your bank to the e-wallet. The e-wallet then transfers the money to the online casino, ensuring that everybody gets paid. When it’s time for the withdrawal, the casino pays the e-wallet account.

Glue Pay is a payment option that is quickly becoming more popular at online casinos, though. Glue Pay is not another e-wallet site, like UseMyWallet and eWalletXpress. Instead, Glue Pay is an instant bank transfer system. The company is used to instantaneously transfer funds from your bank account to an online casino and vice versa.

Glue Pay does not have a limit on the amount of money you can transfer. There is no waiting period, so the funds are available immediately and you can access them 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.

As more online casinos begin accepting Glue Pay as an option, that will give players more payment choices. A smart player determines what payment options are available at a casino before joining. The method of payment that is best for you depends on your individual circumstances.

Sherlock Holmes Rollover at Lucky Red

Author: scott  //  Category: Online Casino

I never really took Sherlock Holmes as a guy who needed a lot of help solving cases. Sure, Watson went around with him, but he didn’t ever really seem to be that much of a help. Despite that, Lucky Red Casino is enlisting your help so Holmes can solve a case.

The promotion is the Sherlock Holmes Weekday Rollover and here’s how it works. Apparently, Sherlock Holmes is investigating some big case at the online casino and if you happen to bump into him, you can help with his case. Maybe you know something, some information that he needs.

As your playing any paid game at the online casino, if you get three inspector symbols, you win! Not only that, but for every inspector that shows up during the free spins rounds, more free spins are added to your account.

There are also some deposit bonuses that go along with this promotion. Players of slots, keno and scratch cards get a special deposit bonus that is different depending on the day. On Tuesday, July 20, players can earn a 50% match bonus on their deposit. The coupon code for that bonus is SHERLOCKA. On Wednesday, July 21, players can receive a 55% bonus on their deposit. That bonus has a coupon code of SHERLOCKB. On Thursday, players can get a 60% match bonus. The coupon code for that bonus is SHERLOCKC. Those bonuses can only be redeemed up to ten times each.

And then there is the bonus for Friday. On Friday, players can receive a 75% match bonus on their deposit, but there is a catch. To be eligible for that bonus, players must have redeemed coupons for the first 3 bonuses (SHERLOCKA-SHERLOCKC).

For players of online blackjack, video poker and any other table games, there is a different bonus. This bonus is not different depending on the day of the week. Players of these games can receive unlimited 40% match bonuses, with a maximum limit of $1,000. The coupon code for that bonus is HOLMES.

More information can be found on the casino’s promotions page. To take advantage of the Sherlock Holmes Weekday Rollover promotion, visit Lucky Red Casino.

World Cup Costing Online Casinos Money

Author: scott  //  Category: Online Casino

The World Cup is good for a lot of things, such as national pride, camaraderie, drinking, playing vuvuzelas, and more, but it turns out that it’s not good for online casinos. While sports betting on the World Cup is huge, making online bookmakers lots of money, online casinos that don’t offer sports betting have been hurt by the month-long soccer tournament.

Though many online casinos have held promotions that go along with the World Cup, such as slot tournaments played on games with soccer themes, those tournaments for the most part have been unable to tear people away from the TV when watching the games. For that reason, most online casinos were prepared for losing money during the World Cup. However, even with lower expectations, most reported making less money than predicted.

PartyGaming, for example, stated that they earned 13% less than expected. Numbers like that are consistent throughout the online gambling industry. It seems that if people are going to be inside during the day paying attention to something, it’s going to be the World Cup rather than a game of blackjack or slots on an online casino.

The good news for online casinos is that the World Cup is almost others, with teams competing in the semifinal round right now. Once it’s over, it should be business as usual, unless everyone lost all of their money betting on the games and don’t have any left for the casino.

NJ Casinos Oppose Online Gambling Bill

Author: scott  //  Category: Gambling, Online Casino

The New Jersey bill that would legalize and regulate intrastate online gambling has an unlikely opponent: the Atlantic City casinos. Members of the Casino Association of New Jersey have spoken out in opposition to the bill, leaving some online gambling proponents scratching their heads.

The bill would allow licensed casinos within the state of New Jersey to operate online casinos, which would only be accessible to people within the state borders. Because the industry would take place entirely within the state’s borders, it would not fall under and federal regulations or laws, including UIGEA.

Despite that fact, Casino Association President Joe Carbo wrote to committee members considering the bill that it violates federal law (which is incorrect) and that the bill would favor foreign online gambling operators. According to Carbo, passing the law would do more to hurt the Atlantic City casinos than to hurt them.

Supporters of the bill disagree, stating that those casinos have the most to gain from the legislation. Joe Brennan, chairman of the Interactive Media Entertainment and Gaming Association (iMEGA), says that if the bill becomes law, the “revenue would flow through” the Atlantic City casinos. He also stated that only online casinos with New Jersey gaming licenses could profit off of the law.

French ARJEL issues more licenses

Author: scott  //  Category: Online Casino

Earlier this month I reported that ARJEL, the new online gambling regulation agency in France, issued its first set of licenses for their new online gambling market. They hoped to get as many approved as possible before the World Cup started, since it is a huge subject of sports betting. Now ARJEL has approved some more licenses.

Five more online gambling operators have been issued French licenses by ARJEL. The biggest name is PokerStars, which is the biggest online poker site and a major sponsor of the European Poker Tour. Another big name in the industry, PartyGaming, was awarded licenses for five of their different brands. Their PartyPoker website was given an online poker license while PartyBets and GameBookers have been given sports betting licenses. They also opened two new online casinos specifically for the French market.

The other three online gambling operators granted licenses are FriendBet, ChiliPoker and Partouche. Of all of the new licenses awarded, the poker room and online casino licenses cannot yet start operations in France. The sports betting sites can begin immediately, though, to take advantage of World Cup betting.

Atlantic City Casinos Say No to Online Gambling

Author: scott  //  Category: Online Casino

If you live in New Jersey and were looking forward to doing some online gambling with some of your favorite Atlantic City casinos, you’re going to have to wait. On June 3, legislation cleared the state’s Government, Wagering, Tourism & Preservation Committee, that would have allowed such a thing, clearing the way for a full vote on the subject.

The legislation would allow Atlantic City casinos to offer online casinos for intrastate gambling. That means people within the state would be able to visit the sites and gamble to their hearts’ content. Since the gambling would be confined within the borders of a single state, it would not be subject to the Interstate Commerce Act and therefore, not subject to any federal guidelines or restrictions.

With this news, members of the Garden State who wanted online gambling at their favorite AC casinos rejoiced! But my dad always told me that saying about when you should count chickens (hint: it’s after they’ve hatched). It turns out that the Atlantic City casinos aren’t actually too keen on the idea.

The Casino Association of New Jersey (CANJ) said that they don’t want the bill passed and asked their representatives to either vote “no” on the bill or to delay voting on it. Joseph Corbo, the president of CANJ, wants online gambling at some point, but wants it to be handled at a federal level. He said that “it is very clear that the federal government must take the lead on this issue.”

The good news is that there are still plenty of good online casinos available on the web. There is no federal ban on online gambling in the US, though the UIGEA has made some financial institutions reluctant to be involved in online gambling transactions. To find out if it’s legal to visit an online casino in your state, check your state’s laws.

E-Checks an Alternative to Credit Cards for Casinos

Author: scott  //  Category: Uncategorized

Many believe that electronic checks, or e-checks, will become the primary deposit method for online casinos, especially those that deal with American customers. Since the passage of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) in 2006, many financial institutions are weary of getting in trouble with the feds for being used for the transfer of funds from “illegal” online gambling. Their worry hinges in large part on the fact that UIGEA does not either make any gambling illegal or clearly define what types of online gambling are illegal. Since the law is so murky, there is the potential for abuse.

For that reason, Visa and Mastercard have both started blocking all transactions between American customers and online casinos, sports books or any other online gambling sites. Other credit card companies may follow suit and even if they don’t, Visa and Mastercard make up the vast majority of the market (with Discover and American Express a ways behind).

There are, of course, other options for making electronic payments. There are a ton of e-wallet sites out there, but some people don’t like using them and for some, they are difficult or tiresome to use. For that reason, many prefer to use electronic checks. To pay by e-check, players only need to enter their checking account number, routing number and social security number (to confirm their identity) on the website. E-checks are even often used to transfer funds on e-wallet websites, so in those cases a casino that allows e-check payment would be cutting out the middle man.

There are not currently a lot of online casinos that offer payment via e-check, though Lucky Red Casino and Aladdin’s Gold are two that do. In the near future, experts believe that a majority of online casinos that serve American customers will have e-check payment as an option in order to avoid losing business. Some sites even offer incentives, such as bonuses, for paying via e-check, since it is cheaper for the casino than a credit card payment.
