Online Table Games at Villento Casino

Author: scott  //  Category: Online Casino

Online slots tend to be the focus of most online casinos. In part it’s because slots are the most popular casino game and in part it’s because they’re so easy to customize and you can release hundreds with different themes. I’m sure the high house edge has a little to do with it as well.

Other games are important for a casino to keep customers happy, though, most notably blackjack and poker. Villento Las Vegas casino offers a good variety of both popular table games. As for online poker, the casino offers 3 Card Poker, Cyberstud Poker, Progressive Cyberstud Poker, Bonus Pai Gow Poker, Poker Ride and Red Dog. Each of those online poker games are played like a regular poker game at a table. The visuals are of the poker table as you look at the cards dealt to you, place your bets, and try to guess what cards your opponents have.

In addition to the table version of poker, Villento Casino also has a wide range of video poker games. The video poker games come in the varieties of Jacks or Better, Aces and Faces, All American Poker, Bonus Poker, Double Bonus Poker, Deuces and Joker and Tens or Better. The look of these games is like playing a video poker terminal in a casino, with a digital representation of the cards laid out in front of you.

If online blackjack is your game, Villento Casino has a good selection, which includes the standard games of Atlantic City Online Blackjack, Vegas Strip Online Blackjack, Classic Online Blackjack and European Online Blackjack. If you’re looking for some of the popular blackjack variants, they also offer Multi-Hand Online Blackjack, Spanish Online Blackjack and Bonus Online Blackjack.

The selection for these table games may not be as good as for the online slots, but they make up for it in their lower house edge. You should lose less (or win more) money with the table games than with slots.

The full selection of slots, table games and table games can be found at Villento Las Vegas casino.

Lucky Red Giving Bonuses for Slots and Poker

Author: scott  //  Category: Online Casino

Right now, Lucky Red Casino is giving away match bonuses for players of online slots and online poker. They’re calling it the S&P Offer, which is bound to confuse some. Some may confuse it with an A&P, which is both a supermarket chain and a good short story by John Updike. Or they may think it is a sadism and masochism offer, which is exciting in its own way, if you’re into that kind of thing. If you’re not, then the thought of the casino involving whips, ropes and leather might freak you out. If you’re smart, you might be wondering what Standard & Poor’s has to do with the casino.

In any case, to clear up the confusion, the S&P Offer refers to slots and poker. This promotion runs from today, July 6, to Thursday, July 8. During this promotion, players of online slots, keno and scratch cards can earn a 60% match bonus up to $1,000 to play those games. The coupon code for this is ACTION and you can claim the coupon an unlimited number of times. The bonus must be wagered 25 times before being withdrawn.

For players of online blackjack, video poker and any table games can earn a 45% match bonus up to $1,000. SWEET is the coupon code for that offer and it can be claimed an unlimited number of times. The bonus must be wagered 50 times before being withdrawn.

For both offers – the S and the P – if you claim 5 or more of the same coupon, you win an extra $25 free. To take advantage of the S&P Offer bonus, visit Lucky Red Casino.

Table Games at VIP Slots

Author: scott  //  Category: Blackjack, Online Casino, Poker, Slots

VIP Slots Casino has a lot of online slots. That much should be clear by the fact that “slots” is in their name. In fact, I’m looking at a list and I count almost 70 slot games, despite the fact that the list of available games clearly hasn’t been updated recently. With the emphasis on slots, though, many people don’t realize that the casino has an excellent collection of table games.

VIP Slots Casino has enough table games to satisfy most players. If you’re looking for blackjack, they offer the Vegas Strip and European versions. In addition, they also offer the blackjack variants of Progressive Blackjack and Perfect Pairs.

Poker fans have a few choices as well. In fact, they have some poker variations that I haven’t even heard of (then again, poker isn’t my game of choice). VIP Slots offers Five Card Mulligan Poker, Let Them Ride, Pai Gow Poker, Tri Card Poker, Red Dog, Progressive Caribbean Stud and 10 High Hold’em Poker. That selection may not be as good as at a website that deals exclusively with poker, but for the casual poker player it offers plenty of variety.

For fans of other table games, VIP Slots Casino also has both European Roulette and American Roulette, War, Craps and Baccarat. Aside from the table games and slots, the online casino also has video poker games, specialty dice games and bingo.

Annette Obrestad Criticizes Doyle Brunson and Female Players

Author: scott  //  Category: Online Casino, Poker

If you follow poker players, you probably know who Annette Obrestad is. She is a Norwegian poker player who is the youngest player ever to win the World Series of Poker Europe. He is a professional poker player who plays for Full Tilt Poker. Online she goes by the screen name Annette_15.

Like a lot of young stars, there are very mixed opinions of her. Some marvel at her advanced skill at such a young age while others criticize her for being arrogant or cocky. Well, the people who hold the latter view now have more of a reason to feel that way.

In a recent interview with ESPN the Magazine, Obrestad criticized Doyle Brunson, players at live tournaments, and all female poker players. Wow. That’s a lot of people to alienate. Speaking with ESPN’s Morty Ain, she said “I’ve always said that girls suck at poker. I say that because they do. Maybe they just aren’t as competitive and don’t try to learn from their mistakes.”

This argument has been going on for a while. Poker started as a man’s game and its demographic is still predominantly male. However, more and more women are starting to play the game. Some think they shouldn’t be playing and some think they can’t play as well as men, but people with either opinion are in the minority.

To make matters worse, Obrestad then said that online poker players are tougher competition than players in live tournaments. “Online players process information so much faster and don’t let their egos get in the way of becoming a better player,” she said. “No disrespect to Doyle, but I’d rather play him.”

Ouch. Of course, if you play online you have a variety of tools at your disposal that you can’t have at a live tournament. In any case, her interview hasn’t exactly made the young lady more popular within poker circles. She is only 21, though, and still has plenty of time to mature. I’m sure most people that age would say something stupid if a reporter interviewed them.

There has been no comment from Brunson.

PPA Challenging Washington Poker Ban

Author: scott  //  Category: Gambling, Online Casino, Poker

As I have said before, the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) – which was passed in 2006 and took effect June 1 of this year – does not ban online gambling in America. In fact, there is no federal ban of online gambling. There are several states in the U.S. that have online gambling bans, though. Washington is one of those states.

In the state of Washington, online gambling – including poker – is illegal and engaging in online poker is a felony. A felony!

The Poker Players Alliance – one of the largest online poker lobbies in the world – is challenging Washington’s law in court. Lee Rousso, State Director of the PPA, challenges that the law violates the Interstate Commerce Act. According to Rousso, the law states that no state can pass legislation that discriminates against a section of a particular industry. He argues that Washington’s law discriminates against the online section of the gambling industry. In other words, you can’t allow people to play poker in a land-based casino and not allow them to play it at an online casino.

I’m no lawyer, so I’ll avoid trying to interpret a small section of a law passed in 1887. The PPA is fighting the Washington law on the basis that it violates federal law by unfairly discriminating against the online gambling industry. So far the case has been heard by a trial court and then an appeals court. It is now set to be heard by the Washington State Supreme Court. The outcome of this case should definitely be interesting.

Online Poker Won’t Be Illegal June 1

Author: scott  //  Category: Online Casino, Poker

This Monday, Americans will celebrate Memorial Day, the honoring of the fallen soldiers who have given the ultimate sacrifice for their country. As a result, most Americans will have nice, long 3-day weekends and then return to work on June 1 refreshed.

If you are an online poker player in the United States, though, you might be worried that when you get back from the holiday, one of your hobbies will be illegal. That would certainly be a slap in the face to have one of your freedoms taken away the day after Memorial Day.

Luckily, that is not the case. The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA), which was passed in 2006, is set to take effect June 1. Many people believe that the law will make online gambling – including online poker – illegal. Luckily, that is not the case. UIGEA does not ban any online gambling, as has been confirmed by a recent Supreme Court ruling. Instead, all it does is allow the federal government to go after financial institutions that are used in transactions related to “illegal online gambling.” UIGEA never defines what types of online gambling are illegal. The most logical conclusion, since there is no federal ban on online gambling, is that it is only illegal if performed within a state that does ban online gambling (as several do).

Therefore, if you are an online poker player, relax. UIGEA can’t do anything to you; it only affects financial institutions. Also, if you want to know whether it is legal to play online poker where you live, check the laws in your particular state. If it’s legal in your state, enjoy the poker!

Author: scott  //  Category: Online Casino

Weekends are usually a good time to play your favorite games at the online casino. That is because you have more free time and won’t get in trouble for playing while you’re supposed to be working. But complaints from your boss aside, it’s also a good time because the online casinos tend to offer good bonuses on the weekends. Right now, Lucky Red Casino is doing just that.

This weekend, from Friday, March 19 to Monday, March 22, Lucky Red is giving away match bonuses based on which games you play. If you play slots, keno, video slots or scratch cards, the casino is giving away unlimited 60% match bonuses of up to $1,000. So if you deposit money to play any of those games, Lucky Red will match 60% of your deposit. The promotion code for this offer is LOVEWEEKEND1. If you are more of a player of blackjack, video poker or any other table games, Lucky Red Casino will match 45% of your deposit up to $1,000. Like the previous offer, this is an unlimited match bonus, so you can claim it as many times as you want over the weekend. The promotion code for this offer is LOVEWEEKEND2. The deposit and bonus for this offer must be wagered through at least 50 times before they can be withdrawn.

If that’s not enough, there are also three different bonuses being offered from Sunday, March 21 to Monday, March 22. All Slots Casino Leader Board

Author: scott  //  Category: Online Casino, Slots

This is the time of year that people like to give things away, whether it’s bonus checks, presents, candy, or whatever. It’s a time when people like to stop and consider the things in their life for which they are grateful. As for me, I’m grateful for having a job, living in a country that for now at least is free, my paternity test coming back negative, and the abundance of loyal OnlineCasinos.org readers who come by every week to see what I have to say and hang on every word.

All Slots Casino is ending November with a big leader board promotion. The promotion, called the Head of the Table Playoff, began on November 22 and runs until the end of the month. Players at the top of the leader board at the end will win prizes.

The promotion covers virtually every casino game, so you can play poker, blackjack, slots or whatever else suits your fancy. Some games, such as roulette and baccarat, are not part of the promotion. See the website for details. To be eligible in the competition, players need to deposit and wager at least 50 credits during the competition.

Points are awarded for a variety of achievements. Players earn 1 point for every 50 credits wagered, for every 50 credits won during each day, and for every 50 credits lost each day. At the end of the tournament, the top players on the leader board will split a prize pool of 10,000 credits. The first-place finisher will win 1000 credits, the second-place finisher will earn 500 credits, the third-place player will receive 250 credits, the fourth-place finisher will win 125 credits, and the fifth-place finisher will walk away with 75 credits. Players who finish sixth through tenth will win 50 credits each. Those players who finish eleventh through fifteenth will earn 45 credits each. To round it out, players who finish sixteenth through 25th will win 40 credits each, 26th through 45th places will win 35 credits each, 46th through 65th place will win 30 credits each, and players who finish in 66th through 100th place will win 25 credits each.

Considering the wide number of games available for this promotion and that there is no cost to enter, it is a no-risk tournament. The only money you pay is money you would wager to play the game anyway. And not only that, but you are rewarded for wagering that money. You get even more if you win. And if you lose, don’t feel too bad, because you’re given points for that.

To take part in the Head of the Table Playoff, visit All Slots Casino today.
